Circuit Diagram
I think that we use symbols to represent things easier, and because we cant write on diagrams. Something easy about symbols is that we don't need to write anything and in a way is better to define things. Something hard is that sometimes symbols can mean more than one thing and we might not know which definition are we using in a situation.
Pretzel Circuil
Today we made a Circuit where the pretzel bag represented a battery, the students represented electrons, the pretzels represented volts and there where two students with a box that represented light bulbs. We did this in a Series Circuit and on an Parallel Circuit.
In a Series Circuit the current always stays the same, this means that when 30 electrons (students) passes by the battery (pretzel bag) there was going to be 30 electrons passing through each light bulb. And in a Parallel Circuit the current will add up that means that if 28 electrons passed by the battery theres was going to be 16 electrons passing through one light bulb and 14 passing through the other one.
Van de Graff
I wasn't in school that day, but my friend Clarydeliz told me that the electricity was moving through the objects, she also told me that when a conductor was near the ball, the ball would release negative energy to the object. I would like to see what would happen if there's an insulator close to the ball.
Insulator & conductors
An insulator that I have been in contact with is a water bottle this is an insulator because its made out of plastic and its hard for electricity to go through it. A conductor that I have been in contact eith is a penny, this is an insulator because iys very easy for electricity to go through it.

Electricity so far
Electricity is a form of energy, and its made because of the movement of the electrons in an atom. So far I learned that electricity is made out of burned natural gas and coal. Im getting better at what is an atom and the parts of an atom. Im still confused with how do they make natural gas and coal to become electricity and how they make it to come to us so that we can use it?
Electricity vocabulary
So far I know that electricity is formed by atoms, on an atom there are protons (+), and neutrons (0) located at the nucleus and there are electrons (-) going around the nucleus. I also know that electricity flows through conductors which is what makes the electricity not to flow away.
I think that I need more help with how is electricity made and how it works because I don't think that what I said is right..

No wires world
Due: 02/03/16
I would name this world "The Wireless Planet" because we won't need wires to have electricity. That would be a cool invention because we wont need wires to turn on a light bulb and other things. Its going to be just like Wi-Fi. I found out that someone called DR Katie Hall is already looking for ways to transfer power without wires, I think that this is going to be one of the coolest inventions that someone can make. Something really cool that we can do without wires is that we can use electricity EVERYWHERE. And we wont need to plug things in order to use it. Something horrible that can happen with electricity floating everywhere is that we might get electrocuted or something like that.
